FriendFeed now available in فارسی

FriendFeed is now available in Persian (فارسی)! You can change your FriendFeed language preference in your account settings.

Thanks again to all of our Persian users — it has been extremely exciting for us to see FriendFeed so widely used around the world.

This is the first right-to-left language we support, so expect that there will be some bugs. You can report problems and discuss FriendFeed with other Persian users in the FriendFeed Feedback (فارسی) room.

  10. WOW thats so nice of you but the name of the language is Persian NOT farsi, Iranians talk in Persian as their main language please corretc that, farsi is just a local name
    from wikipedia:
Persian, the more widely used name of the language in English, is an Anglicized form derived from Latin *Persianus < Latin Persia < Greek Πέρσις Pérsis, a Hellenized form of Old Persian Parsa. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the term Persian seems to have been first used in English in the mid-16th century.[5] Native Persian speakers call it "Fārsi" (local name) or Parsi.[citation needed] Farsi is the arabicized form of Parsi, due to a lack of the 'p' phoneme in Standard Arabic.

    many thanks

  19. Thank u so much.
Please change the the word "farsi" to "Persian".
Farsi is used in Persian language , The synonym word for farsi in English is Persian.
And also please change the font to tahoma. Arial font is used for arabic text not persian. The best font for persian is Tahoma.
