FriendFeed iPhone interface

We just launched a specialized iPhone interface for FriendFeed. When you visit friendfeed.com in your iPhone browser, you will get the new interface automatically:

For all of you without iPhones, you can check out the site at http://friendfeed.com/i.

The FriendFeed iPhone interface looks a lot like the standard FriendFeed interface, but the font sizes, graphics, and forms have been tweaked to make it easier to use on the iPhone.

If you decide you want the standard FriendFeed interface on your iPhone, you can get to it by clicking the "Normal (non-iPhone) interface" link at the bottom of any page. Your preference will be saved, so it's easy to stick with the old interface if you choose to.

    Wait a second. Why isn't the FriendFeed blog... just another FriendFeed account? This is crazy. You've got your blog in Blogger, and... nobody's commenting here because people are commenting on Bret's link. Eliminate the BlogSpot blog and move it to a separate FriendFeed account. Announcements should be no longer than characters alloted. :)

    It looks like a flickr stream of more than 3 forces a horizontal scroll and the rest of the page. They could could, but I would prefer to just got them off at 3 with the "more" link.

    Step in the right direction, I've been waiting for this. Check out dean robinson's twitter interface design http://hahlo.com for using javascript to better work with icons and images in menus and follower lists.

    This view is also nice for regular (limited) phone browsers. I like that it has the comment folding, and all that. Now I just need a way to set the feed size a bit smaller to make it fit completely in the browser.
